The stylish Majestic standing seam roofing sheet is a distinguished roof profile that maintains its shape tirelessly. The renewed Majestic profile is available in a smooth finish as well as in three different patterned options: Patterned, Ribbed, and Micro.
The easy installation of the roof sheets is based on a longitudinal seam-folding system, where the joints lock together by pressing from above. The screw fastening remains hidden under the overlapping seam. The standing seam sheet is 485 mm wide, making reasonably long sheets easy to install even alone.
Standing seam roof with eave fold
The Majestic roofing sheet includes an eave fold. Installation always requires an eave flashing, into which the eave fold locks at the lower eave. This also ensures a screw-free lower eave fastening. In addition, the profile includes a standard seam closure, which allows the overlap seam at the eave to be finished neatly.
We manufacture Majestic profiles from 0.6 mm thick coated steel sheet. The Majestic profile is available in several color and coating options. The coatings differ in gloss level and warranty. You can learn more about the technical properties of the coatings here.
Length extension of Majestic roofing sheets
If transportally possible, we always deliver Majestic roofing sheets in full length. The maximum transport length is 14 meters. To make handling and installation easier on long roof slopes, length joints can also be made. In the longitudinal direction, sheet joints are recommended to be staggered. Joints should always be placed at the battens, and if necessary, additional battens must be installed at the joint location. See installation instructions here.
Sound insulation SoundControl
An advanced SoundControl sound insulation is available for the smooth Majestic metal roof. The Majestic SoundControl metal roof provides sound insulation that reduces rain and wind noise by up to 35% (3 dB). The SoundControl layer is attached to the roofing sheet during manufacturing, making it ready for installation immediately. It also strengthens the profile and has anti-condensation properties.
Easy installation is based on a standing seam system, where the joints lock together by pressing. Screw fastening remains hidden. The eave fold locks into the eave flashing, enabling screw-free fastening at the lower eave.
Majestic SoundControl is available exclusively from Profiilikeskus — either for pickup or delivered directly to the construction site.
The SoundControl sound insulation is attached to the Majestic roofing sheet already at the factory. The roofing sheet is immediately ready for installation. The SoundControl layer is four times wider than traditional sound sealing tape and covers almost the entire surface of the sheet. It provides the best sound insulation on the market against rain and wind noise. At the same time, it also stiffens the standing seam sheet.
Traditionally, roof sheet installation is a two-step process: sound insulation tape is stapled to the battens before installing the roofing sheets. Majestic SoundControl, on the other hand, is installation-ready as is, saving time and reducing installation costs.
