DRIPSTOP for uninsulated metal roofs (R-20 and R-45 models)
DRIPSTOP is an anti-condensation coating for uninsulated metal roofs that can completely replace a separately installed underlay. It provides a new, easy, and cost-effective solution to condensation problems in uninsulated metal roofing. Roof sheets come ready for installation with the anti-condensation coating already applied.
DRIPSTOP – the solution to condensation problems
Condensation on the underside of metal sheets is caused by temperature fluctuations in the air. When temperatures drop below freezing at night and rise above freezing during the day, the so-called dew point causes moisture to condense on the underside of the sheet. These droplets either fall onto the underlay or directly onto the floor if no underlay is installed.
The DripStop anti-condensation coating attached to the sheet absorbs the condensation forming on the underside of the roof. It prevents water droplets from dripping, eliminating the need to protect stored goods and equipment separately. The coating dries when air circulates, allowing the moisture to evaporate back into the air.
The product is a laboratory-tested antibacterial material that does not support the growth of bacteria, fungi, or mold. It is also non-combustible (A2 class) and provides sound-dampening properties (EN 13501-1, A2-s1, d0).
